Campaigns are designed to be short and focused, running for up to 7 days. If the goal is not reached, the campaign is closed and all pledges are cancelled
Pro Tip: In practice, campaigns close 1 hour before the 7-day mark to ensure all pledges are captured securely.

When you pledge, your payment method is authorized but not charged immediately.
If the goal is reached, Stripe captures the payment. If not, the authorization is automatically released and no money changes hands.

All payments are handled entirely by Stripe. FlashFunds never stores or processes card information.
This follows Stripe’s standard authorization and capture model, ensuring backers are only charged for successful projects.
